The Ordinary Argireline Solution 10% Review

The Ordinary is an evolving collection of treatments offering familiar, effective clinical technologies positioned to raise pricing and communication integrity in skincare. The brand was created to celebrate integrity in its most humble and true form. Its offering is pioneering, not in the familiar technologies it uses, but in its honesty and integrity. The Ordinary is born to disallow commodity to be disguised as ingenuity. The Ordinary is “Clinical formulations with integrity”.

Argireline is a trademark owned by Barcelona-based Lipotec. It is a proprietary solution of Acetyl Hexapeptide-8. Controlled studies have shown that Argireline improves the appearance of facial areas prone to developing dynamic folds, including around the eyes and in the forehead area.

Apply a few drops on the forehead and around the eyes twice daily before heavier treatments.

While I don’t have deep wrinkles, I am starting to see some areas of my face where there are signs of faint lines: my forehead, the corner of my eyes and around my smile line. So when I went to the DECIEM store in Toronto last month, I picked up this Argireline Solution 10% solution. I researched a bit on Argireline and apparently it usually comes in a thick serum but it seems like The Ordinary has changed the career method into a water-like serum.

This product absorbed very quickly into my skin and over the month after using up the entire bottle, my skin looks FANTASTIC. Honestly, my lines are smoother and for some odd reasons, my acne has been majorly reduced! I didn’t change anything in my skincare routine except for adding this solution after my toner and prior to heavier creams. I don’t know if Argireline has the ability to reduce pimples, but definitely in the past month, my breakouts have been under control. I still get an occasional zit, but it’s so small in comparison to those cystic bumps. On top, my skin just looks more fresh and bouncy after using this for the past month.

Did I also mention that this solution retails for just $7.90 CAD! That’s a STEAL! After seeing the result, I quickly bought more products from The Ordinary brand to test out over the next few months. So stay tune for more reviews on this brand because I can see this slowly beginning to turn into an obsession.
