CND Flirtation Collection: Vinylux Weekly Polish Review & Swatches

There’s an electricity of unspoken attraction in the air. Evoke a subtle, sensual femininity with the new Flirtation Collection from CND. A palette of soft yet bright shades teases at the imagination and makes this collection equal parts coy, confident, and playful.

“This season, sweet, creamy pastels are inspired by modern lace and embroidery for a delicate and refined glamour,” says CND Co-founder and Style Director Jan Arnold. “Nails will be slim oval glazed with tender shades of coral and lilac, blushed with the spark of deepening allure. Flirtation’s code allows you to be irresistible.”

Change your Flirtation manicure or pedicure every week with these delicately playful shades in VINYLUX™ Weekly Polish. VINYLUX™ Weekly Polish delivers 7-day, chip-resistant wear; fast-drying, 2-step application, increased durability with natural light; brilliant shine that lasts; “7-free” – Free of toluene, camphor, formaldehyde, phthalates (DBP), formaldehyde resin, xylene, and methyl ethyl ketone (MEK)

These 4 colours are my favourite of the bunch because they are definitely what I like to wear on a regular basis.

L to R: Skin Tease, Be Demure, Pink Pursuit, Lavender Lace

Skin Tease – Another nude shade that I adore that’s so delicate! It’s the perfect balance, without being too yellow or too pink, which means it suits every skin colour. There was no issue of streaking as well.

Be Demure – Not my favourite pink in general because it’s a been too “bubblegum” for me. However, I understand why this colour would be very popular. I did have a harder time with this colour as it applied rather thick. I’m not sure if it’s just the bottle that I have or is it the formula.

Pink Pursuit – This is a pink creme that’s very glossy. It’s a great alternative to a nude polish since the pink is more neutral. I must admit, I really like this colour as well and with just two coats, you’ll get the colour on the bottle.

Lavender Lace – I usually don’t like shimmer in my nail polishes, but this lavender shade is just so pretty and perfect for the summer. It applies so easily and only requires 2 coats to reach opacity.

These are rich and bold colours that are perfect for the summer season. I personally am not too drawn towards these colours in particular but I can understand why they are so fitting for the hotter weather.

L to R: Aqua-Intance, Date Night, Desert Poppy, Honey Darlin’

Aqua-Intance – This is a great aqua colour that’s not too in your face. It’s definitely bold without being too bright. Two coats are all you really need and makes a great cream shade.

Date Night – Reminds me of a sailor blue, this polish has a cream finish with amazing pigmentation. One coat was all I needed to get my ideal colour.

Desert Poppy – This has some pearl shimmer in it and thus, makes it a bit bolder. The colour itself is a very vibrant coral. Once again, this has one of the better pigmentation out of the batch.

Honey Darlin’ – A very nice pastel yellow that applies like butter. I had actually thought that this colour would streak because it’s light, however, that was not the case at all. I really only needed 2 coats again for this polish.

This little topcoat is honestly magic because it extends the life of the polish and prevents wear from showing. However, it does make it harder to take off. I do see a difference in the longevity of my polish when I use this top coat versus when I don’t.
