Mark. avon limited edition lip click matte full colour lipstick review

This all-new super-rich matte lip click delivers intense, vibrant colour with state of the art pigment technology. Glides on smoothly without drying the lips. It comes with the innovative magnetic case, which “clicks” close. Available in Starlet, Vixen and Siren shades (3g)

For any type of matte lipsticks, I like to use a lip balm underneath to prevent my lips from drying out too quickly.

Lipsticks always excite me, but matte lipsticks are hands down, my kryptonite. These new limited edition matte lipsticks from Mark Avon are slowly becoming staple items for me: I always have 1 to 2 of them in my makeup bag. First off, I love all 3 of these colours. Siren is the deep red, Starlet is the medium pink and Vixen is the dark plum colour. I personally love Vixen the most, then Siren and finally Starlet. Vixen is the perfect colour for Autumn because that purple would look good with any skin tone. I also really enjoy the pigmentation of these lipsticks. One glide, and you get the full richness of colour.

Another thing that is worth noting is the unique and sleek packaging. I really love how it’s a magnetic case and that the cap of the lipstick simply “clicks” close. The packaging definitely reminds me other high-end brands. The tube is also smaller than regular lipsticks, thus, it can be easily stored in a clutch or a small handbag.

There are two things that I’m not liking about these lipsticks: the longevity of the colours and the price point. Those these colours are extremely pigmented; the colour only lasts for around 2 hours before fading starts to occur. I find Starlet to find the quickest out of the three, while the other two colours tend to leave some patchy marks. Thus, reapplying is a must throughout the day. Lastly, I do find $13.00 CAD for one lipstick is a bit steep in my opinion since there are many other drugstore matte lipsticks that are just as good but for only a fraction of the price.

However, these Mark. LipClick Matte Full Color Lipsticks are good for what they are: matte lipsticks that comes in a convenient case. These are now available through Avon Independent Sales Representatives and on online here.
