This colour is called Always A Lady, and it’s a blackened burgundy. This 2-step system comes in a really interesting package – two mini bottles containing the polish that are connected by a black tube. With two coats, you get the full coverage of the vampy deep red shade. What I also love about this polish is the full size brush, which makes it very easy to apply. The polish runs smoothly and blends easily. Additionally, I enjoy the topcoat, which adds a tremendous amount of shine and really brings out the red in the original polish colour. The polish dries quickly and lasts for more than a week with very minimal signs of wear, which is AMAZING!
Now, here are some of the things I didn’t enjoy about the polish. First, I really dislike the packaging. I understand that it’s supposed to be a 2-step system and thus, the 2 bottles. However, I find the black tube connector to be excessive. On top, I don’t really need a top coat with every single bottle of polish I purchase. I love my Seche Vite one already and don’t see the need to have any more. Thus, I do feel that it’s a gimmick to be able to sell the polish for the SRP of $10.99 CAD.
Overall, the polish runs smoothly and I do think the colour is stunning. However, the packaging and unnecessary topcoats make me like the polish instead of loving it.
