Garnier pure long-lasting shine control moisturiser review

Garnier created a unique formula using natural active ingredients carefully selected for their specific properties: white clay for its absorbency, zinc for its controlling effect, 100% natural cucumber extract for its skin-hydrating qualities, and salicylic acid for its purifying power. The result is an ultra-efficient moisturiser that’ll answer all of your oily skin problems.

Makeup is particularly difficult to remove from combination to oily skin. Garnier Pure Shine Control Moisturiser provides a perfect makeup base. For best results let its active ingredients really penetrate the skin; wait a couple of minutes after applying before putting on your makeup.

Apply morning and night to cleansed skin. Gently massage into the skin using light circular movements starting from the centre of your face. Do not apply to the delicate areas around your eyes. Discontinue use if skin becomes irritated.

Aqua, Cyclohexasiloxan, glycerin, montmorillonite, glyceryl stearate se, polyglyceryl-3 methylglucose distearate, stearyl alcohol, camphor, carbomer, ci 42090, disodium edta, niacinmide, octyl methodxycinnamate, panthenol, salicylic acid, sodium hydroxide, spiraea ulmaria, triclosan, xanthan gum, zinc pca, methylparaben, chlorphenesin, butylparaben, parfum.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Garnier skin care products even though I’m not a fan of their hair products. I think they make the best drugstore skin care products and this Long-Lasting Shine Control Moisturiser is no exception. It contains clay, which is an ingredient that is very absorbent especially towards towards oil. It also has zinc known for it’s regulating action, anti-bacterial agents for purer skin. Once you apply this product onto your face, you can almost instantly see how matte your face will become. This product can also be used as a base for makeup. I know that some people find that it is not compatible with makeup, but I actually think it works great as a base. I do notice a huge difference in the amount of oil I have on my face at the end of the day. I have to say that it works really well at controlling the excess oil on my face.

However, I would NOT recommend this product for anyone that has Combination Skin, Dry Skin or Sensitive Skin. This product should only be used for people with Oily Skin because it is very absorbent. I have very, very Oily Skin and during the winter time, this product can still leave my skin feeling very tight. Thus, anyone that doesn’t have Oily Skin should not use this product. Also, I would stay away from this product during the dry season, such as winter because like I mentioned earlier, it can dry you out. However, during the winter, I use this not on my entire face, but on my t-zone, which tends to get more oily than the rest of my face. Then this way it won’t dry out my entire face and then in the summer time, I would use this all over.

The price is amazing, I got it on sale for $8 CAD at Shoppers and regular price at Walmart is around $10 CAD, which is highly affordable. I’ve been using this for 2 months now and I have not broken out from it. It has a very fresh and fruity smell and overall, I would highly recommend this for anyone with Oily Skin who needs some shine control.
