Urban Planet fridge vest, tank top & tribal shorts, Winners moccasins, Aldo feather necklace & stone necklace
I ventured into Dixie Outlet Mall a few weeks ago to complete their She Who Hunts Finds Challenge. I was given a $200 gift card to the mall and had to create an entire outfit (or 2) with that amount. I didn’t really know what to expect because I had never went to Dixie before. So I was pretty excited to see what the mall had to offer since it is one of Canada’s largest indoor outlet malls.
I first thing I did when I got into the mall was to do a quick walk through to see what brands are there. The mall is just one floor so all the shops are together on the main floor thus, making it easy to access all the stores. There were a few brands that were familiar such as Aldo, Winners, Urban Planet, Sirens, Levis, Nine West, Aeropostale and others. For this outfit, I went to 3 different retailers to pull this look together and spent around 4 hours at the mall to purchase everything.
All my clothing were from Urban Planet, a store that I hadn’t shopped in for a very long time because I found their sizes to be very awkward. (I was always in between sizes) It was nice to see that the one at Dixie was not only large in size, but had a large selection of different styles – I’ve been gravitating more towards the bohemian/rustic/indie/mori girl look recently so I’m happy to see that even Urban Planet can cater to my particular taste.
Next, I went to Winners and found this perfect pair of moccasins. What was really unique about this pair was the fur trim, which sold me on them instantly. They are very warm and thus, perfect for the Fall season. I personally didn’t enjoy the Winners at Dixie as much as other locations because the selection were very limited.
Finally, I finished the entire outfit with 2 necklaces from Aldo. The feather necklace is actually Men’s and the stone necklace is from Women’s. I really like the mixture of the materials and colours between these two necklaces. Though the Aldo store was offering a buy one get one on all sale items, I wasn’t able to find another item I wanted from the store. This attest to not only the size of the store, but the amount of inventory it carries.
Here are all of my purchases from the trip to the outlet mall. As you can tell, I didn’t incorporate all of the items into this one single outfit but will do so in a future post. My favorite finds were definitely from Aeropostale because though it was an outlet, I found their stocks to be pretty current. I also loved the fact that I was able to save a total of $94.52
Lastly, I have teamed up with Dixie Outlet Mall to give one of my lucky readers a chance to go on a $200 shopping spree! You can enter the giveaway below:
