WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT
I dare to make the claim, this is my FAVOURITE drugstore foundation right now! And the primer is my FAVOURITE primer of ALL TIMES! It’s better than my high-end Givenchy Mister Mat Mattifying Foundation Primer. If you have oily/combination skin, I highly recommend you give these two products a try!

Stay Matte Foundation:
I’m honestly always looking for any foundation with the “matte” claim. Thus, when I heard about the Stay Matte collection by Rimmel, I just had to get it! This foundation has a lightweight feel with great coverage. It’s easy to apply and can be worn all day with no touch ups. I can honestly say that my face is still MATTE at the end of the day. Though some people have complained of it’s “thick and heavy” texture, I find that if you use it with a wet sponge, it’s perfect. I love the fact that it comes in a squeezable container and with the price tag of only $6-$7 CAD, it’s a STEAL!
Pro
-Doesn’t clog my pores
-Smooth texture
-Total matte finish
-Affordable
-Amazing coverage

Con
-Colour selection is limited, however, True Beige is pretty close to my own skin tone
-Not suitable for people with dry skin because it will dry out their skin

Stay Matte Primer:
I was first so shocked that it’s a cream texture because I had always been use to “silicone” type of primers. So I was skeptical to whether or not it will actually “stay matte”. As I mentioned above, this product is a fraction of the price as some high-end primers and in my opinion, works even better! This one smooths and makes pores smaller, but the best part is it’s matte finish. You can use this with other foundation as well and it works just as great. I find that you can also use this as an eyeshadow primer as well. And once again, it’s so affordable that it’ll not break the bank.

Pros
-Love the smooth texture
-Not too much silicone in it
-Total matte finish and can be used with other foundation
-Face remained matte throughout the day
-Squeeze tube packaging
-Affordable!

Cons
-It does take time to blend it into your face so it’s similar to applying another layer of lotion

I’m wearing both the foundation and the primer in this photo :)
