WHY YOU SHOULD SKIP THIS PRODUCT
Can we first just take a moment to appreciate the amazing new packaging of the Spring line by Mark. Avon? I really love the box with all its Spring colors. I’m a sucker for anything that’s teal/turquoise/green in color, so I knew instantly I needed to try this set of polishes right away. However, this nail polish set did not make the cut for me.

The green color goes on very smooth and not streaky at all. Two coats are enough to get the full color. However, the color dried a bit darker than what’s on the bottle. I always find that very disappointing because it’s not as vibrant once on the nail. The yellow color is more problematic. I’m assuming because it’s lighter, that’s why it can be more streaky. Even in the end, there’s still some signs of patches but the color is pretty true to the bottle. Not to mention that they are extremely small in size. (You can use my hand as a comparison to the bottles)

Lastly, the ring is too big for my fingers so I cannot make use of it. But I must let you know that I have very, very tiny fingers (size 4) thus, most rings do not fit me. With a heavy price tag of $24.00 CAD for this entire set, I wouldn’t suggest trying this nail polish set when it comes out in March 2014.
