Dolly Wink volume up mascara gives the long lasting curl-up, volume-up lashes. Ultra fine brush makes it easy to apply the outer corner of the eye and lower lashes. Contains soft wax to give thick, separate lashes. Water and sweat proof formula.

Apply the mascara from the bottom of the upper lashes, then apply from the top to give the maximum volume. After applying the volume up mascara, apply Dolly Wink long mascara on the lower lashes (hold lower lash down) to make a sweet droopy look.

This review is honestly, more than a year over due! First off, thank you Rica for purchasing this for me as a birthday gift! Second of all, this is hands down my favorite mascara of all time! (I haven’t tried the Long version of this mascara yet but it’s in the mail being delivered to me at the moment so maybe I might like the Long one more). Remember when I reviewed my previously favorite mascara the one by Majolica Majorca here and the Fiberwig mascara here? Well, this mascara trumps them all! Let me begin my review!

How adorable is the packaging? Yes, I’m a sucker for anything with a cute packaging and I honestly think the Japanese does it best! Look at all the Dolly Wink products that I have reviewed previously here. They are all so pretty! Tsubasa Masuwaka is my hero! I hope I’ll still be as cute as she is now when I’m her age.

I really like the brush of this mascara. Though small, I think it’s very suitable for my small eyes. It gets to all the small areas of my eyes and really reaches to my very tiny lashes. The bristles can also pick up a lot of the product without clumping up. It’s probably because of the formula.

I had to use two coats to achieve the desired length and volume. What I really love about this mascara, is it’s ability to hold my curls! It can even make my stubby-Asian lashes look some what full so I can’t imagine what it can do if you have naturally full and long lashes.

It doesn’t smudge or budge throughout the day and no panda eyes at the end of the night. My curls are still there even after a full day of wear. One of the only downsides that I see with this mascara is that it’s not available in massive drugstores or any makeup stores in regular malls for that matter. You can find this at Pacific Mall, other Asian makeup stores or online on SaSa or eBay. However, this means that the prices are going to be more expensive than what it retails for since it’s imported. They can range anywhere from $15-$30 CAD. It’s retail price should be around $10 CAD. I do highly, highly recommend this mascara.
