WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT
You all must know by now how much I love the Elnett Satin Hair Sprays? It’s the ONLY hair spray that I use now! It has slowly become one of my HG products. Well, you can probably imagine my delight when I discover the Elnett Heat Protect Spray! (I was first introduced the product back in September 2012 at this L’Oreal Paris event). I received the Curly version of this product from L’Oreal Paris Canada and I became tempted to purchase the other 2 versions (Straight/Volume) after testing it out.
So what’s the first thing that caught my eyes with this product? The packaging! Unlike the regular Elnett hair spray, this comes with a pump rather than an aerosol spray. I was a little worry because in general, I prefer aerosol sprays (though bad for the environment) because the product comes out a lot finer and more even. Something about aerosol cans just make hairsprays, in general, so much easier to use. However, *SURPRISE* even with the pump spray the spray comes in a fine mist that can spray evenly on my hair. It even has the same lovely scent as the hairspray. It is very lightweight and doesn’t weight my hair done even though I have very fine hair.
Now onto the BIG question: did my hair remain curly even after 3 days??
This spray is around $10 CAD at your local drugstore, which can be a bit pricey for a drugstore product. Now if you are simply looking for a heat protection spray, then I would suggest getting a lower priced one, such as the Tresemme one, which cost around $3-$5. The difference between the Elnett heat spray and other protectant sprays is that the Elnett is 2 products in 1. It protects your hair and styles it as well, which explains it’s price. So you are paying for the price of 2 products. It’s a multi-purpose product that works. I personally think that if you love the Elnett hairspray, you are bound to love this Elnett heat protect spray!
