WHY YOU SHOULD SKIP THIS PRODUCT
This was my second attempt with mousse hair dye and after failing with the Clairol Nice n' Easy one last month, I had really high hopes for this L'oreal one. L'oreal is my favourite brand for home dyes because it's the ONLY brand that I find that works on my really dark Asian hair. Most of the dye works really well to lighten my hair, which is why I really wanted this dye to show some results. And of course I had wanted to test it out on JL first to see the results because I didn't want to risk my own hair! Haha!

We bought the darker one of the blonde colours just to see if it would actually lighten JL's hair. He actually want to bleach his hair in the summer to get a silver blonde so he didn't mind testing this colour out for me first. Plus, I want to go lighter in the summer as well so that means I'll have to look for a lighter hair dye than the one that I've been using. However, this mousse dye is NOT it! Here are the photos of JL after I had dyed his hair:

It actually made his hair even DARKER than before! ARGH! We were both quite disappointed thus explains his angry face! Haha! At least the Nice n' Easy one made his hair a little bit red but this one didn't even turn his hair brown at all! =/ However, there are some plus sides to this hair mousse. The formula is much more foamy comparing to the Nice n' Easy one, which means that it's much easy to work this. It's great at lathering up and there's no spill what so ever.

The bottle is also a lot more steardy than the Nice n' Easy one and it actually have a pump. For the Nice n' Easy one, I had to squeeze the bottle to get the foam out rather than pumping it out, which can get really inconvenient if you are trying to dye your hair at the same time. It also comes with a much bigger tube of hair treatment than the Nice n' Easy one, which was two little packages.

So overall if the colour had turned out, I would have had nothing to complain about this product. However, the colour really didn't show up at all. I guess JL would really need to bleach his hair if he ever want to get his silver hair. =/ I, on the other hair, is still on the search to find a hair dye that will lighten my Asian hair without having to bleach it! If any of you can recommend one, please let me know :)

YUMETENBO LEOPARD PRINT CAT EAR HOODED COAT

Mood [Stressed]
Currently Playing [林峰 - Let's Get Wet ]

Yumetenbo Leopard Print Cat Ear Hooded Coat courtesy of My Oneechan, W♥C t-shirt, Forever 21 shorts and lace shorts, Nine West boots

Here is the last piece send to me from My Oneechan and it is also my favourite piece! (I'm saving the best for last! Haha!) This time I had actually requested that they send me this coat because it reminded me so much of the one by W♥C. It's comes with little ears on the hood, which is so CUTE! Not to mention that this coat also comes in 3 different colours, beige, brown & grey (pink is no longer available), so there's more selection to choose from. I was scared that I wasn't going to have the time to wear this because the weather was getting warmer. However, since Toronto has been hit with a "spring" snow store last week, the weather has been perfect (very cold) to wear this coat!

I was really shocked at how warm and thick this fur jacket really is. I have had other fur jackets in the past and they are no where as warm as this one. When I was taking these outfit photos inside, I started to sweat a little because the jacket was really insulated. The jacket also comes in two different size, medium and large, so it will be a variety of figures. It is made out of 60% Acrylic 40% Polyester. There is only a limited quantity on the jacket because it's currently on sale for $83.00 USD. (It use to be $107 USD). You are definitely getting your money's worth because this jacket will not disappoint!

The jacket can be easily matched with anything and I do think that it is very flattering. I've tried on other fur jackets before that makes me look really big cause the fur is super fluffy or the cutting is just a little off. But the medium of this coat fits me just perfectly and it does't look big at all! The fut is very soft but not overly fluffy. I think the jacket is just perfect! :) Plus, the shipping of the jacket was also decent and the jacket arrived to me from China within two weeks time. This jacket is definitely my current go-to jacket at the moment!

I love Japanese and Korean style fashion and My Oneechan definitely offer tons of Japanese and Korean clothing. You'll definitely love this site. Not to mention that they also have men's line as well. Go check the site go! :)

MANY THANKS

Mood [Nervous]
Currently Playing [None]

I just wanted to express my deepest gratitude for all of you guys who have shown me support about the news of my internship in Nanjing, China. I'm a little less scared now because the news is slowly settling in. But all your comments had made me feel more at ease about the internship. And for that I want to say THANK YOU! I really hope that I'll be able to access my blog from China because I know that China had blocked almost all commucation through the internet. So if that's the case, I will try to get JL to update my blog for me! HAHA! (Like I'll type everything up and he'll just have to past it nd publish it for me). There are still a lot of prep work to be completed in the next month to make sure that I'm fully ready to go. But I can't even think about that right now because there are only 2 weeks left in this school year which means finals and deadlines are quickly approaching.

Also, as for the shop that had used my photos...they did reply me back and apologized for their action. They have removed one photo from their facebook store but they have yet to remove the second one. I have contacted them again so that they will take off the second one as well. However, it still bothered me a little bit when they were explaining to me why they had thought it was okay to use my photos and not to credit it back to me. This is the reply that I got back from them:

I guess they didn't know that google images searches for pictures from different websites. They should have at least credit google! LOL! But anyways, it's done and over with. No harm was done so we can just forget about the whole situation :)

EDIT: I just got the second reply from that company and they had removed the final photo. However, this is what the person wrote to me:

Google is only a search engine or a medium used to narrow down images to what you type in the search bar. Those images are still from an original site and the credit should still be given back to that site. It's like what Gloria said if you found information from Google and didn't reference them in school, "charged for plagiarism in the academic setting". Haha! Plus, images on Google are for viewing purposes and not for commercial use. So no, images found on Google are not "free for all".

PLEASE DO NOT STEAL MY PHOTOS

Mood [Upset]
Currently Playing [張敬軒 & Rihanna - Hate That I Love You (Mandarin)]

A reader has bought to my attention yesterday that there's an online fashion/circle lenses store on facebook that has used my photos without my permission nor crediting back to me. The person's name on facebook is Aiko Kato and apparently I have 3 mutual friends with the person. This is the link to the profile (http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1168260999). Apparently the person lives in Los Angeles, California but they are from Richmond, British Columbia. They stole two specific photos of a sponsor review that I did of the EOS Flower Series circle lenses. The original post is here. I am in no way affiliated with this company what so ever. And here are some screen shots of the photos that were stolen from this blog. You can see all the photos here (http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?id=1168260999&pid=31565700#!/album.php?aid=2088840&id=1168260999)

It is apparent that this company have no intention of crediting back to me and these photos were only added 12 hours ago as well.

I'm not mad but instead I'm really sadden at the fact that someone who actually steal my photos. I'm not mean, if you ask me, I would NOT say no for you to use my photos. I don't mind sharing my photos because I know that it's difficult sometimes to get a decent photo of something that you are looking for. However, since these photos are of a sponsored post by another company, I had already given that company who sponsored the post the permission to use those photos on their sites exclusively. It would be terrible if the sponsor company thought that I had given the right to another company to use the photos. =/ It's a little disrespectful. So please just ASK first before using any of my photos. I would even be happy to take a new set of photos for someone if he/she really needed my help. I would more than happy to do that favour.

I had kindly message Aiko Kato to take down these photos of me. I'm just waiting to hear a response and I do not want to escalate this matter. And I also do not want to have to put a watermark on all my photos because I think that affects the quality of the photo.

So please, do not steal my photos :)

I'M SCARED AND EXCITED AT THE SAME TIME

Mood [Tired]
Currently Playing [Pink - Perfect]

I announced this news on my twitter yesterday and I didn't get the chance to announce it on my blog until today. I have quit my part time job at the real estate office and I have officially accepted a teaching internship through my university in Nanjing, China for 13 weeks in the summer. (I was getting really sick and tired of the real estate job anyways). I will be teaching English to students between the ages of 12-15 at the Jiangsu Education Services for International Exchange. I'll be prepping students who are preparing for studies aboard. My position description is "The intern's main job is to help teaching affair of Jiangsu College for International Education by JESIE. The interns will have a chance to teach Chinese students who are preparing for study abroad". I have to work 7 hours/day and work 5 days a week.

Am I scared to be alone for 3 months....YEAH! It's not my first time in China, I've been to GuangXi and Shenzhen before but it will be the first time that I'm there by myself. It's an once in a lifetime experience but I'm still scared! I better sharpen my Mandarin before going or else I won't be able to communicate, which means more karaoke?! HAHA! I'll also need to take care of all my daily needs by myself, which means I have to cook, clean, wash my clothes and everything else =/ I will be traveling to Hong Kong first before going directly to Nanjing from there. I still haven't booked my tickets to Nanjing nor have I booked the hotels yet. The next month is going to be super busy with planning and preparing for this trip.

I really hope I'll have the time to keep this blog alive during the summer. I will take my tripod with me so hopefully I'll still be able to do outfit posts. Since JL won't be with me, he won't be able to help my take photos :( I'll definitely make him take plenty of photos for me when we are in Hong Kong! However, reviews and blog sales may have to wait until I come back. But I promise I will still try my very best to do reviews! Hopefully I'll be able to try some new makeup when I get to Hong Kong and China.

If anyone has been to Nanjing before, please let me know your travel experience! :) I'm reading up on some travel blogs on Nanjing and they said that there's Walmart, Watson's, H&M, Mango and Zara there? Is that true?

These lens were send to me by Eye Candy Lens for review purposes, which means that I do not monetary compensation for it. Everything I say about these lenses is of my 100% honest opinion. All lenses provided on this site are guaranteed 100% authentic.

WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT

This is my first pair of circle lenses from Eye Candy Lens and they are also my first pair of Neo Cosmo lenses. Before I get into the lenses, I just want to say how impress I am of the site. Not only does the site offer free shipping on all lenses, but the layout of the site is very kawaii and easy to nevigate through. Not to mention that they have a LOT of lenses to choose from and all if not most of them have prescriptions available! They have the new and very popular Bambi Princess Mimi series as well! I really want to get my hands on a pair of those lenses! All the lenses are already in stock, so there's no wait time. The shipping was also extremely fast even though the lenses were shipped to me from Hong Kong. Eye Candy Lens always offer:

When I saw these lenses in person, I was scared that they weren't going to have a great colour payoff. This was so because you could hardly see the colour on the actual lens (refer to the first photo). However, when I popped the lenses onto my eyes, it was a complete different story! The colour is SO VIVID and you can definitely see 4 different tones! My eyes are brown, grey and blue at the same time! HAHA! The colours are just really beautiful! Not to mention that it blends so naturally with my real eyes! They are honestly LOVE!

The only thing that I was not impressed with was the packaging. These lenses came in a regular envelope and it was only wrapped in one layer of bubble wraps. I think it's very flimsy to be shipping out lenses with this method. However, other than that I have nothing to complain about these lenses! They are very comfortable and I can wear them for a full 8 hour without having to put eye drops on my eyes. I also find that these lenses do not slide as much as the GEO lenses or even the EOS lenses. They really do stay in place. I must say that I'm quite impressed with Neo Cosmo as a brand and these lenses!

You can also follow eyecandylens on Twitter! Chloe, who's the owner of the site, is quick to reply all your questions and she's extremely friendly as well! She will be more than happy to answer all your questions and inquiries!

LIFE IS A TEMPORAL GIFT THAT WE BORROW

Mood [Okay]
Currently Playing [Thu Thuy - Think of You]

H&M jacket, Forever 21 skirt, Walmart t-shirt, Ardene belt & leg warmers, UP boots, from Korea purse

I had been so tempted to buy this sailor jacket from H&M when I saw it around a month ago. However, the jacket is really thin and not very warm, thus, I thought it was not worth the $60. Then when I went back to H&M last Monday and saw that the jacket was 50% off, I was beyond happy! ^___^ I grabbed the smallest size right away. Sadly, that location didn't have a size 2 but I convinced myself to get the size 4 anyways because it really didn't look too big on me. Plus, I didn't want to wait to check another location just in case they have sold out of it already. So once again I'm convinced that I should always wait for a sale at H&M because their "new" stuff are always on sale by the next week! I swear when I was still working there, all the stuff that I had wanted would never go on sale. (-_-")

I recently learned a cheat way to do the bow hair style, which makes it much easier to do my hair like this in the morning. It's much easier than it looks. The first thing that my dad said to me that day was that I looked like Minnie Mouse! Haha! (^_^)

The beautiful pink Heat Proof Silicone Mat and black pouch. I love that polka dot ribbon, it's so kawaii! I'm going to use it as a hairband! haha! :)

These are all the extra goodies that Misikko send me as well. I love those hair clips because they can hold my hair up without putting any bends in my hair and also the Colgate Wisp, which I still cannot find in Toronto.

Last time they gave me a rose with my package and this time they have included pink tulipes(?). I think they are tulipes, but anyways, they are very beautiful!

This is what I mean by EXCELLENT customer service! John even included a little note on the bottom with a number where I can contact them directly if I ever had any pressing questions or concerns. You don't see this type of service very often!

These are the comparison photos of the Hana flat iron with the Ionika flat iron. As mentioned in the video above, I do like the fact that the Ionika has a strap for the cords. However, the Hana one definitely heats up a lot fast and it is much lighter comparing to the Ionika one. Ever since I received the Hana flat iron, I have not been able to put it down. It is now my go-to flat iron on a daily basis. Misikko.com also has plenty of other brands of hair straighteners that are available.
