E.L.F BRIGHTENING EYE COLOR FOUND IN DOLLARAMA

Mood [Happy]
Currently Playing [唐禹哲 - 只欠一句 我愛你]

e.l.f. Essentials Brightening Eye Color in Silver Lining, Punk Funk & Blue Moon

Just a quick note for my Toronto readers, you'll be happy to know that Dollarama now carries a very limited collection of ELF Brightening Eye Colour! I had previously blogged here about Dollarama carrying ELF brushes, eyelash curlers and sharpeners, and now they carry these 3 eyeshadow quads as well. I went to two differeny Dollarama's (Scarborough Town Centre & Woodside Mall) and it seems that they only have these three colours to choose from.

I know that they are 50 cent more expensive than the ELF website (the retail price is $1), but at least you don't have to a) pay for shipping from the States and b) have to deal with the long shipping process. Plus, it's only 50 cent per item. I had just started playing with one of the quads and my initial thoughts are that the shadows are really blendable and really pigmented! =) If you are interested, I would suggest going to your local Dollarama ASAP because both stores that I went to were already low on stock.

Mood [Tired]

Plaid Layered Sweater courtesy of My Oneechan, Forever 21 red bubble vest, from Hong Kong pink leggings, vintage cowboy boots

This is the second piece of clothing that was send to me by My Oneechan. (Click here for the first review). These items were send to me by My Oneechan for review purposes, which means that I do not monetary compensation for it. Everything I say about these items are of my 100% opinion as always. This Plaid Layered Sweater is so cute and it suits me really well. I can wear this on a daily basis, whether I'm going to school or going out with my friends, it's perfect for everyday. It's currently on sale for $39.99 USD and these are the photos of the item from the website:

I really like both of these colours and I think the are quite suitable for most people. The sweater is very true to the photos and the quality is really good as well. I may be a little taller than the model because the shirt doesn't come down as long on me as it does for the model. An unique thing about this sweater is that you can take off the layer underneath. The plaid layer is actually fake and can be taken off with buttons. This mean that you can achieve two different type of looks with just one item. However, the only downside that I find with this sweater, well with most online clothing store, is that most of their items are "free" size. This applies to this sweater as well, it only comes in one size =(

But like my previous review, I love this item as well! I really like how versatile it is. You can pair it up with leggings during the winter or just wear a pair of shorts underneath for the summer. Do check out their website below or follow the link on my sidebar because I love everything on their site. I love Japanese and Korean style fashion and My Oneechan definitely offer tons of Japanese and Korean clothing. You'll definitely love this site. Not to mention that they also have men's line as well. Go check the site go! :)

INGREDIENTS
Water, glycerin, propylene glycol, glycereth-26, butylene glycol, dimethicone, copolymer, PEG 60 hydrogenated caster oil, arbutin (1%), phenoxxy ethanol, methyl paraben, triethanolamine, hydroxyethylcellulose, allantoin, carbomer, panax ginseng root extract, sodium hyaluronate, coptis, chinensis root extract, disodium EDTA, fragrance.

WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT
It's been a while since I had done a review on a face mask. Sorry! I had received this mask from Joyce a few months ago as a part of my birthday gift. I had actually used it during that time but I had been procrastinating to write the review on it until now. I had never used a UGBang mask before so I was quite excited to try it out!

The first thing that I had noticed after using this mask was how soft my skin felt the day after. There was a dramatic difference. The scent of the mask is okay, I don't think it smells as nice as the My Beauty Diary masks. This mask was made in Korea, which was different from the beauty diary masks, which were made in Taiwan. I loved how it had swallow's nest extract and ginseng in it because I'm pretty sure they were the reason why my skin felt so soft.

The serum was slightly sticky but it didn't make much of a difference. The size of the mask was pretty standard and was about the same size as My Beauty Diary. I left mine on for a little over 20 minutes and after I removed the mask I could see the difference in brightness and texture. I also loved how there was a little hole in the forehead area, which made it easier to spread the mask evenly on my face. I hate it when a mask does not shape or fit my face. It's the little details like this that proves that the company has put effort into manufacturing this face mask. =)

They are $18 USD for 5 pieces at Yesstyle, which is more expensive than the My Beauty Diary ones. I haven't checked to see if there are any sellers on Ebay that has this mask for sale. But if anyone knows where I can get this for cheaper price, please let me know :3

RATING
Product (5/5)
Cost (3/5)
Ease of Use (5/5) - Love the little hole on the forehead to make it easier to apply the mask
Packaging (5/5)

Revlon Top Speed Fast Dry Nail Enamel in 110 Pink Lingerie, LA Colors Art Deco Nail Lacque in Black

Sorry I know that the nails are a little messy. I was in a rush when I was doing it and so my right hand look so messy. I did this almost a month ago, so my nails have changed a few times since then. I took some images and elements from Dolly Wink and just incorporate it onto my nails. If you have trouble making the dots or drawing a straight line, I would suggest using a tooth pick or even a small paint brush to make it easier. I'm starting to run out of design ideas, any suggestions?

Forever 21 vintage wide leg denim, H&M lace top, Jessica Simpson Dany heels, vintage fridge scarf

My long search for the perfect pair of wide legged denim has finally ended. These are without a doubt my favourite pair of jeans that I own at the moment. The high waist, dark wash and flared bottoms are perfection. The best part is that though I had ordered these online and never had tried them on previously in the store (I hate shopping at the actual Forever 21 stores because they are always either crowded or out of stock), these jeans are a perfect fit! Plus one for consistency in sizing. Now, I only wish that I was a few inches taller so I wouldn't need to compensate with a 6 inch heel. On another note, I picked up this beautiful lace top from H&M last week for only 10 bucks. I was almost tempted to get it in black as well.

Hexyl Cinnamic Aldehyde, Benzyl Benzoate, Linalool, Gamma Methyl Ionone, Citronellol, Lilial, Hydroxy Citronellol, Geraniol, Eugenol

WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT
This stuff is simply amazing! I have been using it since October or November of last year (I can't remember the exact time) and I'm still hooked to it. I was introduced to this product by my hairstylist who always put this in my hair after colouring and styling my hair. It leaves my hair really smooth and super soft! I loved it so much that I just had to ask my hairstylist where can I purchased the serum and she said that as far as she knows, you can only get it at salons. But she was wrong! I found this at WalMart and purchased it right away.

One or two drops is plenty and is enough for my long hair. I usually only put it on the ends of my hair because too much of it will leave your hair feeling greasy. So make sure you don't put a LOT! This means that one little bottle can last for a really long time. My hair can be quite frizzy after blow-dry and this product also eliminates all my frizz, which is great!

The only downside with this product is the price-tag. The bottle above is only a 50 ml bottle, which is really small and it cost around $16 CAD at WalMart. Really pricey for such a small bottle. But like I said, two drops go a long way, thus, that small bottle still has plenty of product even though I've been using it on a daily basis since October/November. Plus, it has a REALLY good smell!

RATING
Product (5/5)
Cost (3/5)
Ease of Use (5/5)
Packaging (4/5) - I actually don't like the bottle, it's boring

Head Porter key holder

Yes, my car key snapped in half today when I tried to open the door (the other part of the key is in the lock). Don't let the sun fool you, this is by far the coldest weekend of this year! Right now the temperature in Toronto is -17°C and with the wind chill, it actually feels like -25°C! I'm freezing in my own room even though I've turned up the temperature in the house by almost 10°C. Luckily, I was close to home and was rescued rather quickly by my dad. I now make sure that I always carry an extra car key with me whenever I go out so if this were to happen again, at least I can get into the car with the spare key.

Beautiful Lace Long Sleeve Dress courtesy of My Oneechan, Only crochet vest, American Eagle purse, Aldo boots

When the package from My Oneechan arrived in the mail yesterday, I was so excited to see what they had send me. These items were send to me by My Oneechan for review purposes, which means that I do not monetary compensation for it. Everything I say about these items are of my 100% opinion as always. They had mailed out my package on January 13th and I received the package on yesterday, which was January 20th. I was so shocked that the registered package only took one week to arrived from China to me in Canada. Super impressed with the company's shipping process and the package was neatly packaged as well. I'm still in shock that internationally shipping can be so fast. Mimi Yoshida, who's Promotions Manager of the company is also extremely friendly and nice. She answer emails really quickly as well.

They send me a total of two items to review and each of the items that they send me were also individually wrapped and neatly packaged. I was also really impressed by that. Here are the photos of how each product look like once I took them out of the box. The packaging of each item is definitely a lot better than most of the other online stores.

The first item that I received is the Beautiful Lace Long Sleeve Dress. The company knows me so well in sending me this dress. I think it's completely my style and it fits really nicely with the bohemian style that I love so much. This dress also comes in white, but I honestly prefer the brown/tan colour because it's not as common. This dress is perfect for Spring, which is quickly approaching. The dress is also really good quality, it's definitely not made out of some cheap materials. It's currently on sale for $53.00 USD and these are the photos of the item from the website:

What I love the most about the company is their amazing customer service. If any the purchased garments are damaged beyond repair, they will either replace the item (if available) or give a refund to the customers as long as they file a claim within the mentioned date in our return policy, which is 14 days after they have received the package based on tracking information. If they wait longer to file the claim, they may be issued store credit instead. Unlike most online stores, they also reimburse shipping costs to have the items sent back to us at either of our US/China/Japan/South Korea office, whichever is closer. Customers will not be charged any additional costs. That's amazing!

If anything should happen to your orders or you have any questions about an item, our customer service team is always ready to help (even on the weekends) and usually answer e-mails within one day as long as correct contact information is provided. That's one of a kind customer service! Stay tune to find out the next item that they send me!

If you love all my outfits or what I wear in general, do check out their website below or follow the link on my sidebar because I love everything on their site. I love Japanese and Korean style and the site definitely offer tons of Japanese and Korean clothing. You'll definitely love this site. Not to mention that they also have men's line as well. Go check the site go! :)

[REVIEW] - MAC FIX+ ROSE

Mood [Okay]
Currently Playing [JYJ - Empty]

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
An aqua-spritz of vitamin and minerals, infused with a calm-the-skin blend of green tea, chamomile, cucumber, topped off with the fresh, natural, energizing scent of Sugi. Adds radiance, finishes makeup. Spray it on. Skin drinks it up!

FOR BEST RESULT
1) Finishing Spray- Great for setting your makeup after you have applied foundation and all face makeup and powder. (But I'm hearing different things now about this product, some people are telling me that Fix+ is not a seal at all)
2) Refreshing Spray
3) Toner
4) Mixing Medium (Foiling)- For applying pigments and eyeshadows when you need that extra dramatic look!
5) Hair and Scalp - When your scalp feels dry or your hair needs extra moisture

INGREDIENTS
Water, glycerin, butylene glycol, cucumber fruit extract, chamomilla, camellia leaf extract, tocophryl acetate, caffeine, panthenol, hydrogenated castor oil, fragrance

WHY YOU SHOULD SKIP THIS PRODUCT
I had wanted to LOVE it, but I just can't help thinking I could just use normal water for this purpose. I tried so hard to love it and used it so many times before writing this review, but I honestly have to say that I don't even like it. The money spend on this product can be used on other, better products. Let me explain...

I had wanted to try this out at the beginning because I've heard that it can be used as a fix for makeup. However, after doing a little research and hearing from different gurus with different opinions...I had found out that it's actually not a fix. (I double confirmed with the sale rep at MAC just to make sure). I was a little relief to find out that it wasn't a fix because honestly, it did nothing as a fix. It doesn't even come close to Urban Decay's All-Nighter Spray. My makeup lasted so much longer when I used the Urban Decay fix comparing to the Fix+.

Then, I'm not really looking for a refreshing spray because I always set my makeup with my Urban Decay's All-Nighter Spray so there's no point in "refreshing" it. As a toner, it really doesn't do much. I find that it's not super moist and it sometimes leave my skin feeling really tight. And for $19 USD, I can get a much better toner. Let me continue, I don't foil my shadows nor do I use/own pigments. So I can't use the spray for that. (Even if I wanted to foil, I would honestly just use water to light damp my brush or somethng, haha!). Then the last use, for the hair and scalp, I put so much product in my hair already to make it not dry and I really didn't need another product. So in the end, I don't really have much use for the Fix+.

Overall, the only good thing about the product is the smell. It does have a very fresh rose smell that I really like. But to pay close to $20 for a nice bottle of water with a rosey smell is a little too much in my opinion.

RATING
Product (1/5) - A point just for the nice smell.
Cost (3/5) - Quite pricey for a bottle of water.
Ease of Use (2/5) - Not enough instructions on the box to tell you what's the exact use of the product.
Packaging (5/5)
