[SPONSOR] - EOS FLOWER GREY CIRCLE LENSES

Mood [Okay]
Currently Playing [None]

These lens were send to me by mukuCHU for review purposes, which means that I do not monetary compensation for it. Everything I say about these lens are of my 100% opinion. MukuCHU is an Australian based online store and they sell GEO, EOS and other brands circle lenses. Their lenses are 100% Genuine from Korea and the products are genuine, KFDA approved, and have acquired ISO certification. EOS lenses are labeled in Japanese and GEO lenses are in English.

They ship all over the world and shipping time will vary depending on the location and public holidays. After the deadline closes, the orders will be sent to the supplier. It takes about 3 to 5 working days for the lenses to arrive to mukuCHU, and then about 10 working days to arrive at your doorstep. So it may take up to 3 weeks to arrive, especially if it has been checked through customs. They only accept PayPal for international orders and PayPal is the most preferred method of payment. Bank Transfers and money orders can only be made for orders within Australia and will take longer to process.

WHY I LIKE THIS PRODUCT

This is my second pair of EOS lenses in my collection and I'm starting to like this manufacturer more and more. These lens are the Flower Series by EOS. What's so different about mukuCHU is that they actually included an instruction of how to put on and how to take off the lens. Haha! I never realized that other online companies do not include this very important piece of vital information. Haha! But anyways, the lens are really natural even though they have a really unique pattern to them. These are perfect for those of you who are looking for a bit of enlargement without the over dramatic affect of other EOS lens. Under strong lighting, these lens appear to have a purple tone to them, but I can assure you that they are grey. I had worn these for a whole day without being uncomfortable.

I only wish that the colour payoff would be a little better. I prefer more dramatic lenses because I like it when people actually notice the colours of my eyes. However, if you are not like me, then these lens would be perfect for you. Now onto the actual company: I really like mukuCHU because they have tons and tons of circle lenses to choose from. They also have monthly contests for their customers and all kinds of promotions. For example, the current promotion is:

Buy 3+ pairs for a FREE pretty lens case!

2 ~ 3 pairs for $27 AUD / $22 USD a pair
4 ~ 5 pairs $25 AUD / $21 USD a pair
6 ~ 9 pairs $22 AUD / $18 USD a pair
extra 5% discount available to VIP card holders
(Promotion does not include Toric and FunkyEyes lenses)

Paying $22 USD for a pair of lenses is not bad at all. The only downside is that most of their prescription lenses are not in stock, so you would have to pre-order. However, the process is not long at all comparing to other companies.

Want your own pair? ORDER HERE! Please don't forget to mention that you've heard it from my blog!

A WISE GIRL KISSES BUT DOESN'T LOVE

Mood [Chilled]
Currently Playing [Bruno Mars - Just The Way You Are]

Old Navy men's sweater, Forever 21 denim vest & shorts, W♥C ugly hat, H&M purse & fur legwarmers, Payless booties

When I was walking around the mall in this outfit, I got so many people staring at me. It was probably because of the fur legwarmers! Haha! Every shoe store that I had walked into, many of the sale associates had thought that the legwarmers were actually a part of my boots or they were my boots. They were all pretty impressed when I had told them that they were actually legwarmers. I'm not sure if you can still get these from H&M because I had purchased them last year when they had gone on sale for a mere $7 CAD. Fur items are without a doubt my favourite part of winter. I love being draped in fur things; hats, scarves, mittens and of course a fur coat is a must. I just hate it when these legwarmers start to drag all over the floor. I hate having to wash them after every use.

Halloween weekend and I don't have a costume or any plans. I usually dress up every year, but for some odd reason, it changed this year. Maybe because Halloween, along with Christmas, has become so commercialized that I'm starting to dislike it. Plus, it doesn't help that I have a mini essay due on Monday morning, which I have yet to start. However, I would love to see all of your costumes. Do interest me by telling me what you are going to be dressing up as! ^^

[SPONSOR] - CHI SILK INFUSION FROM MISIKKO.COM

Mood [Hungry]
Currently Playing [None]

Last month, I received this lovely package from Misikko.com for me to review some of their products on my blog. I was so shocked when I opened the package to find not only the neatly packaged items, but they also included a little rose for me. Such a romantic touch! Haha! John, the contact from Misikko, was only suppose to send me the Chi Silk Infusion and the Hana Shineshield Heat Therapy, however he also included other sample products for me to try out as well! Thank you very much Misikko for sending me this amazing package! Here are some information about this website:

Located outside of Philadelphia, Misikko emerged from a desire we share with many of you: to easily shop and compare the best professional styling tools & beauty products on the market. As beauty aficionados and savvy consumers, our goal is to help you learn about the tools of the trade so you can find the right salon tools & products at the right prices - whenever & wherever the mood strikes.

For over eight years, we've been committed to seeking out the newest innovations in the hair & beauty industry. And we're picky, like our customers; we look for high quality products that deliver on their promises, and we'd love to hear from you about our collection!

In this post, I'll be reviewing the Chi Silk Infusion only. Please continue reading to hear my thoughts of this product.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
CHI Silk Infusion™ (2 oz)- Reconstructing Complex is specially formulated for thermal styling and hair repair. CHI Silk Infusion contains no alcohol, so it won't dry your hair out as a leave in treatment - and it'll leave your hair with the head-turning, lustrous shine of pure silk.

Farouk CHI Silk Infusion Features:
* Leave in, alcohol free reconstructing treatment
* Enriched with pure natural silk, wheat and soy proteins
* For soft manageable hair with incredible shine and no build up
* Protects the hair against thermal styling and environment

FOR BEST RESULT
Since this is a leave in treatment, I would suggest using this on freshly washed hair prior to styling. Apply a small amount into palm of hand and work evenly throughout your hair. Leave in and proceed with styling. It is best to use CHI Flat Irons & CHI Hair Dryers for best results because they have salon technologies such as nano silver and tourmaline to cater to delicate hair textures. You can purchase these flat irons from Misikko.com as well.

INGREDIENTS
Cyclomethicone, Dimethiconol, Dimethicone, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Panthenol, Ethyl Ester of Hydrolyzed Silk, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance, D&C Yellow 11, D&C Red 17, Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, Mica, Boron Nitride Powder.

WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT
I use a flat iron or curling iron on a daily basis. Thus, my hair definitely goes through a lot of heat on a regular basis! Thus, using a heat protection is a must for me! I'm really happy that I discovered this product because it's simply amazing! Here is a photo of my hair after using this product:

I love the feel of my hair after I have used this product! Not only does it make my hair feel so soft but it also leaves it feeling silky. My hair doesn't get greasy at all and it adds a really nice shine to my hair. I applied this product mostly to the ends of my hair because that's where my hair is most dry. I only need to use about a quarter size of the product before I start straightening it. And a little bit of this item goes a really long way! I've used this product for over a month now on a daily basis, and it's as much the entire bottle is still full. You really only need a pea size amount for all my hair! Amazing!

The downsides that I see with this product is the smell. The smell isn't that bad but it is fairly strong for a hair product. It's not unbearable, it's just a little different. However, this is a very bias opinion and the smell does fade rather quickly. Also, this product is rather pricey. I've read reviews before about how Target sells it for $20-$25 USD or so. However, Misikko is selling the 2oz bottle for only $12.99 USD, which is a lot cheaper! If you are interested, you can purchase this item here: CHI SILK INFUSION

*Note: shipping is only available to US and Canada. Sorry international buyers!

RATING
Product (5/5)
Cost (4/5) - A little pricey, but a small amount goes a long way.
Ease of Use (5/5)
Packaging (3/5) - Sometimes the bottle tends to leak when knocked over.

H&M jean jacket & purse, from Hong Kong dress, American Apparel leggings, Forever 21 Mary Jane pumps & headband & necklace

Sorry for the lack of outfit posts lately, I know how much you guys enjoy these posts. The weather in Toronto has been on and off lately with sunshine and then rain the next hour. So I haven't been able to take my camera out to do a shoot for almost a week now and haven't gotten the chance to find somewhere nice to take it indoors. I'm thinking about where I'm going to be taking pictures when the weather drops to below zero...

As much as I love these Miu Miu look-a-like pumps from Forever 21, they are absolutely brutal to walk in! I even bought one of those Dr. Scholl's inserts, but they are still hardly bearable. They are definitely not made for long distant walking, let alone going to the mall with them. I made that horrible mistake. I think I'm just going to add these shoes to my collection and just model in them. Haha! I wonder if the real Miu Miu ones are actually any better?

[REVIEW] - NATURAL COLLECTION BLUSHED CHEEKS

Mood [Chilled]
Currently Playing [Destiny's Child - Emotions]

Colour in: Pink Cloud

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Natural Collection is a brand that is available through Boots stores and online at the Boots website. It is available in the UK. This brand is really good because everything is less than £2.00! Natural Collection Blushed Cheeks are fine, soft powders that give a natural hint of colour to your cheeks. There are 4 colours available: peach melba, rosy glow, pink cloud and dusky pink.
* Fragrance free
* Dermatologically tested

FOR BEST RESULT
I always apply my blush after I have finished all my other make because it allows you to see how intense I need my blush to be. I've been using my ELF angled brush to apply this because it allows an even distribution of the blush and avoid powder fall out. I have noticed that this blush does last throughout the day so you wouldn't need to reapply on a typical 8 hour day.

INGREDIENTS
Aqua, Ethylhexyl stearate, Butylene glycol, Dimethicone, Steareth-21, Cetearyl alcohol, Steareth-2, Cetyl alchol, Talc, Panthenol, PEG-20 stearate, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, (+/- Cl 77891, Cl 77492, Cl 77491, Cl 77499.)

WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT
I had received this lovely blush from Mandy of ♥ PINK DOLLY ♥ back in August during our first beauty swap together. I never got around to doing a review of it until now because I've been so busy writing reviews for other stuff and trying out some other stuff. I'm really sorry. However, I have been using this blush for the past month or so and I agree that I'm loving this product! I like how this blush is not really that pigmented so it gives a really nice rosy glow to my cheeks. It doesn't required a lot of the product to achieve the desired look. This colour is very light and it's really pretty on my skin tone.

I also really like how this blush comes in a round plastic tub with a twist on lid instead of the usual pop up lid because pop up lids tend to break really easily and they leave a really big mess. At least that's for me anyways because I'm probably really messy. So I think the packaging of this product is really good and it's also very durable. I had research a little about this brand and had realize that it's only available through Boots and thus, you can only purchase this item if you are in UK or through the online store. This means that getting a hold of this product in Canada will be some what difficult. That's such a bummer because this product also only cost £1.99, which is less than $4 CAD! So my verdict is that this blush is must for anyone who are obsessed with blushes. I would recommend finding someone from the UK and doing a swap with them. I also want to get my hands on some of the other makeup from this brand as well.

RATING
Product (4/5) - I took off a mark because it's not available in Canada! =(
Cost (5/5) - Very affordable!
Ease of Use (5/5)
Packaging (5/5) - Love the round plastic tub!

FOR BEST RESULT
Even though it's a lasting finish, I would still always, always suggest putting a top coat! I would never skip the top coat because it makes the polish last THAT much longer! So always put on a top coat!

INGREDIENTS
(unavailable)

WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT
I had purchased this colour right after hearing that this is the dupe for Sephora by OPI Metro Chic. I had read on many, many blogs that this colour is practical the same as the OPI one and the fact that it's half the price of the OPI one, I had to hunt it down in a Wal-Mart. (Note: this is a very popular colour, most Wal-Mart had already sold out of it, but just keep checking until they restock!)

This is without a doubt, the "IT" colour for fall right now. It's in the taupe family and even though it's called Steel Grey, it has a purple undertone to it. This soften the colour and gives it a more sophisticated appeal. Unlike many people however, I really love the brush! I have read that some girls didn't like it because it was annoying to put on or that it was too messy. But unike the regular tiny brush, I think this larger flat brush makes it easy to put on the polish because it doesn't take as many strokes.

The colour did last for up to 2 weeks, however, it's probably because I used a really good base and top coat. I really like the square bottle design of the polish; it makes it look really chic. Overall, this nail polish is a great formula and a great buy at only $6 CAD at Wal-Mart. Rimmel's Lasting Finish Pro nail polish has 32 shades to choose from, so you'll definitely find a colour that's right for you.

RATING
Product (5/5)
Cost (5/5) - Half the price of Sephora by OPI Metro Chic
Ease of Use (5/5) - I love the large flat brush.

[MEDIA COVERAGE] - MISSISSAUGA PETITE FEET SHOE SALE

Mood [Excited]
Currently Playing [None]

H&M jacket & earrings, W♥C kuma maxi dress (Purchased from Tori), Vince Camuto shearling clogs

Yesterday, Joyce and I attended the Petite Feet Sample Sale in Mississauga. It was V.I.P day yesterday and we were invited by the company to come back and do another review for them. This time we were able to not only go to the sale, but we went also invited to go backstage as well. We took photos, made videos, did interviews, and of course, shopped for shoes!!

This time the sale was at the International Centre with much bigger space, a lot more shoes (over 20,000 pairs!) and with a new collection called Boutique Brands. The display is still very organized and there are plenty of employees working there to help you out with the shoes. Here are some photos from inside the centre:

I couldn't believe how many people were there already. It was 10 in the morning on a Thursday, so I kept wondering to myself if these women had skipped work or school just to come to this school sale? It was starting to get aggressive already. There's definitely more shoes and selection during this sale comparing to the Markham location. I'm assuming it's because they have more spaces at the International Centre. As you can tell, the prices are listed all over the wall for this side of the sales floor. Everything ranged from $30 to $125 for leather boots.

Backstage

Lindsay took us backstage to see how the company unloads their stocks. As you can tell from the photos, the boxes go on and on and on! There are over 20,000 pairs of shoes! The employees separate the shoes by sizes and then place them into assigned boxes. Afterwards, other employees from the floor will place them out onto the sale racks. When we were there in the morning, some of them were still unloading all the new shoes that just came in for Fall. Can you see all the Sam Edelman boxes? I have never seen that many pairs of shoes all in one place!

My Favourites

These are my favourite shoes chosen from the Boutique Brands section. Though the shoes in the section range from $75 to $175 for leather boots, it's still quite affordable comparing what you will pay in other stores like Browns, Little Burgundy or B2. These styles newer than the ones from the regular section so that's why they cost a little bit more.

I'm still in shock that they had the Sam Edelman Zoe, Zoyla, York and Joss there! I had wanted to get Lorissa but unfortunately, I didn't see it at the sale. Maybe it was all sold out already!

The Zoe wedges are from their Fall 2010 collection and have been all over the fashion world and they were on sale for only $125 CAD! We first saw these shoes when Mary-Kate worn the original Balenciaga version of these harness booties back in 2006. Now these Sam Edelman ones have everywhere ever since!

Natalie, The Shoe Addict

We met Natalie, who's an obvious shoe addict, there at the shoes sale. She's not only carrying a basket in one hand, but she also has another basket full of shoes rolling on the floor. We were able to have a little chat with her and she's such a sweet girl for letting us take photos of her.

Hear Me Talk

My first Youtube video...EVER...and I look so awkward in front of the camera! Thanks Joyce for putting this video together and her boyfriend, Jack for filming us!

What I Took Home

Of course I couldn't resist getting the Sam Edelman Zoe wedges. It's too beautiful to pass up and I'm can't wait to wear them! I was actually sponsored for these shoes, so THANK YOU SO MUCH PETITE FEET!

So if you love shoes and if you're in Toronto, you MUST got there NOW! Tell Lindsay and Larry that you heard it only from Emily and Joyce! They are really nice and great to talk to!

ATTENTION! WAL-MART REVLON SALE

Mood [Whatever]
Currently Playing [None]

I was in Wal-Mart yesterday when I had noticed this amazing Revlon sale that they were having! (I know that some of you guys also live in Toronto and may be interested in this sale). Revlon is one my favourite drugstore brands (along with Maybelline) so I thought I would share this sale with you all because I've been waiting for a Revlon sale for a long time now!

Most of the Revlon lip products are on sale for under $5 CAD! AMAZING! These were the products that I had picked up: Revlon Matte Lipstick (on sale for $4.18) in Nude Attitude, Revlon Colourburst lipstick (on sale for $4.78) in Baby Pink and Soft Nude (This is my second back up of this lipstick! I love it that much!), and Revlon Lipgloss (on sale for $4.18) in Life's a Beach and Nude Lustre. I wanted to buy more, but I thought I would restrict myself a little because I've been spending a lot of money recently on many online purchases. In total, all 5 of these lip products came out to be $24.97 after tax.

These are amazing prices for those products because most of it is more than 50% off! Go to your nearest Wal-Mart to check it out! I would suggest going to one that's less busy or bigger with more products because I had to go to two Wal-Mart's to find these products. Most of the stuff are sold out already! SO HURRY!

Her collection of JC shoes is IMMENSE, with an astonishing 149 pairs and growing! She gets a new pair almost every day! She also has such simple but chic style! Definitely go check her out!

[REVIEW] - ELF PRODUCTS FROM DOLLARAMA

Mood [Tired]
Currently Playing [None]

I was pretty excited when I had read Joyce's post about E.L.F products being sold in Dollarama. I quickly went to two different Dollarama and to my surprise these items were all these. Even though the products aren't $1 as it is on the website, but $1.50 is not bad considering I didn't have to pay for shipping. I've always wanted to try E.L.F products but the international shipping to Canada would cost more than the actual products. So I never end up ordering anything. There are some stores, such as Zellers, Winners, Style Sense, that carries E.L.F products in Canada but I always find them to be extremely over-priced. So I can never convince myself to buy them. Here are the stuff that I've picked up:

Essentials Total Face Brush
Soft, caressing bristles allow for soothing application of facial and bronzing powder. Great for quick full-face touchups.

All e.l.f. professional makeup brushes have been designed and tested by professional makeup artist Scott Vincent Borba. Each brush has been ergonomically designed to fit perfectly into your hand and facilitate a flawless finish with every application.

WHY YOU SHOULD SKIP THIS PRODUCT
While this brush is not a total fail, but I don't like it enough to pass this brush. The biggest problems I see with this brush are the fact that it's not soft or dense enough. Nor is it really firm enough. I feel like the brushes that I got from Spa Resource are softer than this one. Furthermore, the brush sheds.

Essentials Blushing, Bronzing and Blending Brush
This unique three-in-one brush allows for precision application of blush, bronzer, and all other multipurpose dusts and loose powders.

All e.l.f. professional makeup brushes have been designed and tested by professional makeup artist Scott Vincent Borba. Each brush has been ergonomically designed to fit perfectly into your hand and facilitate a flawless finish with every application.

WHY I LIKE THIS PRODUCT
It actually doesn't show on the ELF website, but this brush is angeled. Once again, the brush is not very soft. However, because it is angled it makes it really easy to appy the blush or bronzer onto the cheek bones. You will have to apply the brush in a few strokes because the brush isn't wide enough to cover the entire cheeks. This brush has almost no shedding.

Essentials Eye Shadow Brush

Specially sheered brush tip absorbs the perfect amount of eye shadow and provides long lasting color saturation. The comfort curved brush contours the eye with natural gliding strokes for easy and accurate eye shadow application.

All e.l.f. professional makeup brushes have been designed and tested by professional makeup artist Scott Vincent Borba. Each brush has been ergonomically designed to fit perfectly into your hand and facilitate a flawless finish with every application.

WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT
Now this brush is a winner! The quality is very good and it's soft. The brush is not flimsy at all and it can hold shadows really well because I don't notice any powder on my cheeks or my lashes. The eyeshadows can go on really smooth and blended. As of now, I have experienced no shedding so far. This is definitely a great buy.

Essentials Dual Pencil Sharpener
This convenient Dual Pencil Sharpener is the essential tool for sharpening pencils of any size to maintain professional and precise application. The removable adapter allows you to adjust the size to fit even the largest pencils. The cover captures shavings and allows for easy cleaning. Includes a small bonus sharpener. Excellent for travel.

Direction: Place pencil into appropriate sized sharpener and turn until sharpened. Remove cover to clean out loose shavings. Use the small pick that is located on top of the sharpener to remove hard to reach shavings.
Warning: Do not place any body parts into sharpener. Keep out of reach of children.

FINAL THOUGHTS
ELF makeup brushes are terrific for day-to-day use until you’re ready to take the professional plunge. I don't think ELF brushes will last a lifetime but I hope they will last long enough. And for $1.50, I think you can't go wrong! Just a tip about buying these products from Dollarama, some of the packaging is really dirty, so make sure you wash your brush thoroughly before using them on your face. You wouldn't want any dirt or dust to get on your face.

WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT
I first just want to say sorry that this review has taken me over 2 months to complete! I've been so preoccupied with other stuff that this review just got pushed back again and again. So sorry! But here are my thoughts of this amazing quad!

Like many youtube gurus and beauty bloggers, I'm also loving this quad! This has definitely been one of the go-to quads that I own. For a smokey effect, the colours look great and it's so easy to apply and to blend. Thus, whenever I feel uninspirational with my makeup, I would turn to this quad. I love how it has an application guide on the back of the product and it even has indication words of where to put the shadows printed onto the shadows itself. The velvet-tip applicator also really helps to blend the shadows better. It's not very often that I like the applicators that comes with shadow quads, but Maybelline has definitely changed my opinion about that. The applicator is amazingly well made, which makes me love this quad even more. There are also many, many colours to choose from and with the retail price ranging from $4.99 (on sale at Wal-Mart or Shoppers) to $7.95, it's a definite buy! I haven't been able to get my hands on other colours yet because I'm still waiting for a sale. But when that happens, I'll definitely purchase a few more of these quads.

RATING
Product (5/5)
Cost (5/5) - Extremely affordable for a quad.
Ease of Use (5/5) - Great application guide on the back of product.
Packaging (5/5) - Just because I love the velvet-tip applicator!
