MY FIRST TIFFANY

Mood [Ecstatic]
Currently Playing [None]

As I am watching the closing ceremony of the 21st Olympics Winter games in Vancouver, I can't help but feel little butterflies in my tummy. I can't even remember how many times I've been brought to or close to tears by these winter games. I'm so encouraged and moved by the courage of these athletes. 14 gold medals for Canada? That's AMAZING! My favourite moment is without a doubt the men's hockey finals that took place a few hours ago. Crosby, you are the nation's hero right now!

Besides being glued to my television screen, I also went shopping this past weekend and picked up this size 4.5 1837 silver ring from Tiffany & Co. It's a gift from my Grandma as an early graduation present (though it's not till 2012), I think she's just coming up with an excuse to buy me something. She's so sweeeeeet! Thanks Grandma!

H&M hat, shirt, Forever 21 jeans, Bench sweater, ODM watch

Short post before I head out for school. There was a crazy snow store last night so the roads are in pretty bad conditions right now. However, I did manage to arrive at the closest H&M yesterday morning at 10am and picked up a whole bunch of garments from "The Blues" collection. I'll make a new post about that when I get home. By the way, all the stuff were sold out within a day!

PS, I'm loving this nautica/sailor look that's coming in for Spring.

NOT TOO POSH

Mood [Okay]
Currently Playing [None]

I came across the magazine in Wal-Mart the other day when I was picking up Hello Kitty bandages and hangers. I have always been a huge fan of VB, of her style, her Hermès and of course, her smoking hot body. The photos are amazing in this shoot and it really shows a side of Posh that I wasn't aware of. She actually looks so CUTE with the puppy and "cute" is not a word I thought I would ever use to describe her.

Here is the intervew that she did for Glamour:

GLAMOUR: I’ve come with questions for you from Glamour readers. This one is from Alanna8 on glamour .com: If you were to find yourself with a free day, how would you spend it?

Victoria Beckham: I travel a fair amount, and when I’m here in L.A., everything revolves around the kids. So if I’m not working, I go to the school and help serve lunches to the children. They just love that. It’s like, Oh, there’s Mummy serving me! The other day I was there, I was reading to Cruz’s class. All the little girls were saying, “We really like your dress.” And it was quite cute because I don’t have a girl.

GLAMOUR: What are the things in life that make you smile? That’s from Vivian Sachs on Facebook.

VB: My children and my husband make me smile. My work makes me smile. When I was in New York the day before the [last fashion] presentation…you’re trying to fit the models, [do] the hair and the makeup, and the anxiety makes you almost sick, but I’m like a pig in mud! That makes me smile.

GLAMOUR: You say you are “incredibly ordinary” looking. That’s a quote. And yet you put yourself out there in the incredible hair and makeup, the perfect outfits. Where does that come from?

VB: I love fashion, and that’s how I express myself…. I think about [what I’m going to wear] before I go to bed at night…. When I dress in a certain way and do my hair and makeup in a certain way, it’s not to get attention. I’m not a supermodel. I make the best of what I’ve got. I work out to look the best that I can, but I’m no Gisele.

GLAMOUR: Let’s talk about your work as a designer. Your dress collection is not inexpensive, and the world is in an economic crunch right now. Why are they selling so well?

VB: I consider all of my pieces to be investment pieces. A dress shouldn’t be worn for one season—you should be able to wear it year after year.

GLAMOUR: How about jeans? What makes a great pair?

VB: I’m such a perfectionist; I’ve worked really hard [with my team] to get it right. It’s got to be a great silhouette—long, slim legs. Really good design. I’m not saying that you’ve got to be a stick to wear them. You can be all different shapes and sizes.

GLAMOUR: Let’s get back to the readers’ questions. Tania Foster wrote in on Facebook to ask: What’s it like being a former Spice Girl? Is it part of your life you look back on?

VB: I’m so appreciative of all the girls. We’re all still friends; I still send all of the Spice Babies birthday presents. I’m really respectful of my past, and I look back and I laugh. What we did was incredible. We sold 52 million albums!

GLAMOUR: Fifty-two million! And do you listen to your albums? What do you think of it all?

VB: You cringe at the clothes. But, yeah, I do [listen]. The kids like to watch Spice World, and we sing along and watch Mummy be a pop star.

GLAMOUR: This one’s from Asma Ali: Don’t your back, knees and feet hurt from all of those heels you wear?

VB: Absolutely they hurt. Absolutely! I’m not going to lie. But no pain, no gain, as they say. I don’t mind. I will suffer. I don’t wear heels every day, but when I’m out, that’s how I feel confident.

GLAMOUR: These are from glamour.com reader Durini09: What do you think is the sexiest thing about a woman? And how do you always look so flawless?

VB: I think the sexiest thing about a woman is confidence, but confidence in a humble way, not in an arrogant way. Sense of humor is definitely important. And sunglasses always hide a multitude of sins. Sunglasses and a great pair of heels can turn most outfits around.

GLAMOUR: Let’s move on to a sexier subject: your husband. Reader Karen D. wants to know: “Is Victoria a jealous person? I love her husband with a passion.”

VB: It’s not healthy to be jealous. I look at David and I think, He’s so handsome and I’m so lucky to have him as a husband. And he’s an amazing father. I don’t blame people for looking at him and finding him attractive. I mean, I do.

GLAMOUR: So you enjoy it a bit when people drool?

VB: Well, I wouldn’t say that I enjoy it. I understand it because I drool over him.

GLAMOUR: When you met him, did you think this guy would be an incredible father? Or was it a surprise to you?

VB: When I first met him, it was after a soccer match, and all of the players [were in the] players’ lounge. David was sitting in the corner with his [family]. From the moment I met him, I knew that he wasn’t a bloke-y bloke.

GLAMOUR: You had some sense of that when you met him?

VB: Yeah. I believe in love at first sight. I met my soulmate with David.

GLAMOUR: Tamiblue on glamour.com asks: “What were her first thoughts of David the first time that they went out? I know what mine would be.”

VB: When I first went out with David, I was in the Spice Girls, and David wasn’t so known. He told me when I got to know him a little better that he didn’t know very much about me, so he bought tabloids. He read that I liked Prada. So he went out and bought Prada trousers, Prada shoes, a Prada shirt, Prada jacket.

GLAMOUR: That’s so cute.

VB: Yeah, and it was all navy blue and he looked very chic.

GLAMOUR: Patricia Diaz from Facebook wants to know: Do you ever eat?

VB: I’ve had those questions for so many years; I’d probably be dead by now [if I didn’t]. I’m a very, very healthy eater. I eat lots of fish, lots of vegetables, lots of fruit. I don’t eat junk food. I work out. That’s the only time I get upset by things written about me—when people write irresponsible things about my weight…. I appreciate that young girls look up to me. And I take that very seriously.

GLAMOUR: Are there any celebrities you look up to—who make you nervous?

VB: Nervous in a good way. I [once] shared a plane with George Clooney. I still get excited. My mum and I said, “Oh my God” … I’m leading an extraordinary life. I never try to be too cool about [it].

THIS I PROMISE YOU

Mood [Stressed]
Currently Playing [Jordin Sparks - The Cure]

Just come with your heart and leave the rest to me
And I promise that we'll be and I'll be the cure
Show me where it hurts
And I know that I can be the medicine you need
Baby, I'll be your cure

I can be your shelter when the winds starts blowing
So don't be afraid of what's in front of you
'Cause I know I'm strong enough to carry us through

So consider this a moment, that's defining who you are
And I can fix what's broken and here's how I'll start

I'll be your healer in my shining armor
Just let me protect you, that's what I'm here for
My love is a healer if you let me near you
Reach out and touch me, just let me restore

I am the cure

Hong Kong tofu shirt, UP men's britain belt, Zara drop-crotch jeans, Ebay/Costa Blanca X accessories

I don't think a lot of Canadians would be too pleased to see my British belt. XD I'm not British nor have I been to Britain. But I've always loved blue, red and white together. Those colours are bold. 4th gold medal for the red and white team last night in men's skeleton. When I was watching the race yesterday, I kept thinking to myself that someone can get seriously hurt from this sport. I mean, did you see how fast they were travelling down the hill?! Going head first with only a helmet to protect your head? Too dangerous for my likings.

On a side note, my only pair of white/black oxfords finally walked their last walk the other day. The sole of one of them cracked and torned apart. Luckily, it was snowing or raining on that day. This means I need to invest in another pair very soon.

[REVIEW] - GOWOONSESANG BB CREAM

Mood [Giggly]
Currently Playing [Big Bang - Haru Haru]

So what's BB Cream exactly? Let me try to explain it to you.

The double B stands for "Blemish Balm". The product was originated in Germany and used by dermatologists to help patients who have gone through laser skin surgery soothe and regenerate the skin. Soon after, Korean celebs started using the cream and a craze was born.

Big companies then took the idea and turned it into a product widely available to the public. The new product is suitable for all skin types, especially those with sensitive and acne-prone skin. It has the advantages of both a makeup and skincare product. The best part is, it helps to cure acne scars!

There are hundreds of different BB Cream out there and sometimes it's hard to find a good one. And not to mention that there are so many fake ones out there as well. But I HIGHLY recommend the one by Gowoonsesang (photo above).

Dr. G is developed by Dr. Gun-Yong Ahn, the founder of Gowoonsesang, the world’s 2nd largest medical skin care group. His over 20 years of clinical experiences on skin restoration is behind the birth of Dr.G. He entered a medical school with the facial burn from his childhood. He treated his scare and restored skin of many patients. He gained a reputation in the skin restoration area. He developed Dr.G by request of patient who wanted daily skin care after the dermatological treatment.

This specific BB cream has amazing coverage, that's why I've been using it for over a year now. It's as good as any foundation and it doesn't clog the pores. I have actually been breaking out less since I started using this product. I have very oily skin and this product has even helped me reduce the amount of oil. Also, my acne tends to scar very easily, even if I don't touch them. This BB cream has also helped with the reduction of those scars. Plus, I tan easily and this BB cream comes with SPF 30, which is perfect for summer, and it has whitening essence as well. I really cannot ask for a better product.

UB teal blazer, Forever 21 overalls & necklace, ASOS double bar ring, vintage glasses

I'm a little late, but I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day with your loved ones! My Valentine's Day consisted of a sushi lunch downtown and skating at City Hall. Then a family dinner to celebrate the beginning of the Lunar Chinese New Year! (Red pockets are always welcomed). Pictures are not available; I didn't bring my camera.

I picked up the above boyfriend blazer last week because I couldn't resist the colour. It's so stunning and perfect for spring time. I saw it as I was existing the store, quickly tried it on and bought it right away. UB clothing is getting better and better, which makes me very excite because it's so inexpensive.

TO ALL MY LOVERS

Mood [Anxious]
Currently Playing [Lady Gaga - Poker Face]

Before we can completely take in the amazing Jimmy Choo x H&M collection last fall, the part 2 of Sonia Rykiel's collaboration with H&M launches on February 20th (this coming Saturday) in 250 stores around the globe. The images of the new knit wears for ladies and girls (18 month to 8 years old) have finally been released to the public last week on the H&M website. Of course, Rykiel's iconic stripes are the main design focus of these pieces. Along with the clothing line, she is also releasing accessories for H&M as well including scarves, jewelleries, hats and 2 pairs of shoes. H&M also is trying to keep the prices low for this collection; the most expensive piece being only $79. Being a huge fan of H&M and also an employee, I can't wait to get my hands on the collection! I have my eyes on the some of the jumpers and the pink frill dress. I'm a big fan of bold colours, and Rykiel is definitely bold.

For bloggers in Toronto, the lady's collection is available in the stores located in Eaton Centre, Bloor Street West and Yorkdale. PS, did you hear about H&M's garden collection for spring? No, then ask me!

H&M top, Forever 21 tutu

I've fallen in love with this tutu skirt from Forever 21. It makes me feel so girly and cute. The second photo is the boyfriend's new top that he just received in the mail. I thought it was funny how he told me before that he would never wear green or pink. Guess those days are now over and I proved him wrong once again. PS, a stranger just called and wished my a happy valentine's day at the office. What are you doing for valentine's day?

Round is definitely in and I'm loving it! I'm loving all these bright and pastel colours coming in for Spring, especially for eyewear. But, due to a tight budget and maxed out credit cards, I can't splurge on a Karen Walker pair just yet. However, that's why Ebay was created. I have been eyeing on a few pairs for under $30. There are also round glasses available for Ebay as well. Go check them out!
